We had the best home cooked diner food, wonderful FAST service, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are HUGE! Take a look at the Omelet we ordered, it filled the entire plate! You just can’t beat the Portside Cafe! they are so friendly, we felt like family on our first visit. We’ll definitely be back very soon!

Do not let the look from the road fool you. This place is awesome!!! Prices look like they are from 2010 and the food is great. Highly recommend stopping here if you are passing through. Breakfast served all day.

You like little family friendly dive restaurants, this is your place. Family owned! Service was friendly and fast. You’re gonna get a good ole Ohio family home cooked meal here. The double cheeseburger was delicious!

While traveling south from Columbus, we wanted to grab a quick breakfast. We than came up on Portside Cafe by luck. We initially thought we might want to pass on this place but we decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did. As soon as we walked in, one of the staff greeted us with the biggest smile and quickly walked us to our table. We sat down and took in all the charm of this very established restaurant. The menu was simple listing all their breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We ordered our breakfast and drinks. The service was on point and the food was delicious. If you find your self looking for good food with a homestyle charm, this is your place.

Epitome of a “dive” and we love everything about this place! The ladies are always friendly and funny too! Good food like Mom used to make… come hungry there’s huge portions of delicious homemade food.

My omelet wasn't very good (bacon, mushroom, tomato) but our other omlet was pretty good (bacon and cheddar). Probably because I'm not a fan of canned mushrooms and it needed more cheese. The biscuits and gravy were okay. The home fries (fried potatoes) were delicious and the fried bologna sandwich was excellent! Orange juice and coffee were both good, too. It's not somewhere I feel the need to experience again, though.
